FREE ADMISSION TO THE PUBLIC – The Show is open from 11am to 5pm on both days at Pitcairn’s Path, Eastcote Road, South Harrow, HA2 8LG. Roxeth Show is going to be bigger and better than ever this year! With a packed programme of entertainment, a wide variety of Charity, Local Community and Trade Stalls, larger than ever Fun Fair, Licenced Bar and Catering Stalls plus FREE Magic Shows, Pets Corner, Circus Skills Workshops and Kids Fun Zone- this is an event for all the Family!
Harrow Community Radio will be joining us for the Event, providing music, commentary and broadcasts! Park and Ride is available from Bovis House on Northolt Road.
Saturday: The HA2 Children’s Carnival will be returning to perform in the Showground plus a Pets Corner, including Fancy Mice, Netherlands Rabbits, Syrian Hamsters, Ferrets, Chincillas plus some exotic species!
Sunday: The Fun Dog Show is also returning with all of the familiar and well loved classes, please see link to the right for all details, times and how to register. There will also be a Circus Skills Workshop and Kids Fun Zone so you can learn to juggle, walk on stilts and lots more!
It’s that time of year again… Worldwide Free Comic Book day comes to Harrow with free comic for all ages!
Calamity Comics in Springfield Road Harrow is one of the thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 5th 2012. On Free Comic Book Day, over 2.7 million comic books will be given away by participating stores, introducing as many people as possible to the wonders of reading and comic books!
Plus, CALAMITY COMICS HARROW 25TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT. Established in 1987, Calamity Comics started life based in the Centre Crafts Marketplace in Harrow. Over the last 25 year the store has grown from those humble beginnings to become one of London’s Premier Comic Book Stores.
Based in Springfield Road for the last 10 years this store is one of Harrow’s hidden gems, with its large range of products like T-Shirts, Action Figures, Toys, Games, Manga, Posters, Yu-Gi-Oh! and other Collectible Card Games… not forgetting the large range of American comics.
This year 2012 is also Calamity Comics’ 25th anniversary and to mark this event we will be holding a Free Comic Book Day like no other! There will be the usual free comics for visitors to the store on the day (selected types) PLUS… also attending this event we have the sole preferred Star Wars costume clubs of Lucasfilms Ltd., THE REBEL LIGION UK, THE 501st UK GARRISON & MANDALORIAN MERCS.
On the day there will be characters like Jedi Knights, classic Storm Troopers and Jango and Boba Fett who will entertain and be available for photos.
There will also be an 18ft inflatable Spider-Man and lots more. This will be an event not to miss.

The very eagerly anticipated clash between the local rivals will this year take place at The Vale and a big holiday crowd is expected for
this very important Ryman League Premier Division fixture. Kick-off is 3pm and the club house will be fully open to welcome all before,
during and after the game.

Radio Northwick Park and HCRfm 87.7 have teamed up again to do another live show, this its the big one! On Christmas day morning we will be live from the children’s ward, Jacks Place and the Chaucer unit between the 9am -12 noon.
We’ll be handing out presents as well as visiting the children, parents and staff of both wards.
I’m Kieran and I’m going to be on the radio for 48 hours. Starting at 7am on the 21st December and finishing on the 23rd December at 7am, I’ll be on Harrow Community Radio HCRfm 87.7 and online at www.hcrfm.org
I’m only allowed 5 minutes of sleep every hour which I can “bank” and take a bit of a nap when I choose, this mean I can only take 4 hours sleep in 48 hours.
All the money rasied will be shared with both HCRfm 87.7 and Teenage Cancer Trust

Harrow Community Radio (HCR) launched this week on the evening of the 5th December in front of the Mayor of Harrow Cllr Mrinal Choudhury and the Mayoress is Mrs Rama Choudhury as well our volunteers presenters and invited guests.
The opening speech was given by HCR Director Keith Chilvers about HCR’s aim and oblectives and its furture plans to be come a full Ofcom licenced community radio station
Fellow Director Jean Lammiman spoke about HCR role in the community and how it will support local community groups and local business through its 28 day FM licence up until the 31st December 2011.
There was also live music from two of the music tutors from the Wealdstone Youth Centre, Louis Green and Kathy Edgar as well as one of their students Aiesha who showcased her new single. HCRfm 87.7 runs 24 hours a day with love shows from 7am – 9pm daily from the 4th – 31st December 2011
