One of this country’s most sought after comediennes returns to the Harrow Arts Centre for a sell out gig. Keeping her audience in stitches, Gina recalls her many mishaps during an array of thrill-seeking holidays. But despite the spills, she keeps on travelling – and Friday saw her filling the Grade II listed “Elliot Hall”, part of the former Royal Commercial Travellers’ School in Hatch End.
Gina decided 3 years ago to up sticks and move to Hollywood, and she’s not done too bad with regular appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and now her own 1 hour stand up special airing on Showtime. Gina flew over on Thursday from the sunshine of LA to attend the show in Harrow on Friday (28th) for the second date of her “Gina Yashere Live in Colour” tour.

If you have never tuned into TRS (The Rob Show) on, I urge you to do so this week. In the studio with Rob this week, is a collective of young people from Harrow, showcasing an album they have been working on over the last 12 weeks. The project is called Your Voice Your Potential and will be showcasing all of the 10 track from the album exclusively on HCR. Rob will also be talking with the Artists & their Producer Antoine Stone as well as having live performance in the studio
The album, which is a mixture of Hip Hop, Grime and R & B plus the interviews will also be available on our listen again service after the show.

Dare to descend the 100ft wall at Northwick Park Hospital in aid of St Luke’s Hospice.

Once again daring St Luke’s supporters will be descending the 100ft wall of Northwick Park Hospital to raise money for the hospice.
If you would like to take on the challenge and see amazing views of Harrow and Wembley sign up for the abseil today. Entry is £20 per person plus sponsorship. Your entry fee only covers the cost of the abseil which is why we urge everyone taking part to aim to raise as much sponsorship as possible.
Invite all your friends and family to come and watch you on the day as you take on the challenge. We’ll have hot drinks available to keep you all warm.
We only use professional and qualified abseil instructors, Rock and Ice are full members of AMI (the Association of Mountaineering Instructors) and are AALA registered (Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority).
